Erik Refner Formerly a sergeant in the Danish army and part of the Danish national team for the pentathlon. Worked as an assistant to a fashion photographer, then entered the Danish School of Journalism in 1998 where he is still studying. Did an internship at the Berlingske Tidende newspaper in Copenhagen, for whom he photographed the winning story Projects: Swedish Rock & Rollers travelling around the country playing music and partying, reliving the 1960's. Story about old Danish athletes who are still competing with other veterans around the world and winning world championships.
